Overview of Content

This resource provides on-line research tools and information resources to facilitate community-based initiatives that lead to expanded broadband access and adoption among area health care providers. The primary audience for this module is Regional Broadband Planning Teams to support broadband planning efforts. Health care providers and health care organizations are a secondary audience.

Module Objectives

1. Identify resources and information that support expanded access and adoption of broadband for health care.
2. Assess current uses of broadband and future needs among health care entities.
3. Generate awareness around the opportunities and support adoption of broadband technologies to improve access to health care and health outcomes.
4. Help local leaders organize and collect data to expand adoption and use of broadband.
